International Nurses and Midwives Scientific Conference 2025

The Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union (RNMU) is pleased to invite you in the International Nurses and Midwives Scientific Conference, to be held from 4th to 6th December 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda. This prestigious conference aims to bring together nurses, midwives, researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals from around the world to share knowledge, innovations, and best practices in nursing and midwifery.


Conference theme:


“Towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC): The Role of Nurses and Midwives in Strengthening Healthcare Systems in Developing Countries.”


Sub-themes:

  1. Strengthening Primary Healthcare (PHC) through Nursing and Midwifery Services

  • Expanding access to essential health services

  • Community engagement and community-based interventions in PHC

  • Sexual reproductive, maternal and Child health services

Abstract Submission guidelines:

  • Abstracts should be written in English and not exceeding 300 words.

  • Abstracts must include the title, author(s), institutional affiliation(s), background, methods, results, and conclusion.

  • Submissions should align with one of the conference sub-themes mentioned above

  • Authors must specify whether they submit the abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

  • All abstracts should be submitted electronically via this link

  • Abstract submission deadline: 30th June 2025

  • Notification of acceptance: 30th August 2025
