On the 3rd & 4th of February 2020, RNMU had the pleasure to participate in the Nursing Now Campaign Regional meeting held in Kampala. The ICN current president professor Annette Kennedy ,Lord Nigel Crisp & professor Sheila Tlou both Nursing Now Campaign Co chairs attended the meeting. Participants were from Rwanda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, the UK, and Uganda. The purpose of the meeting was to encourage discussion amongst the campaign stake holders on Nursing Now, the Nightngale Challenge and 2020 the year of the Nurse and the Midwife as designated by WHO. All countries were called upon to be involved in recognizing the contribution and raising the profile of Nurses and Midwives.
