The Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union (RNMU), in partnership with the National Council of Nurses and Midwives (NCNM), conducted a three-day Clinical Preceptorship Training aimed at strengthening the capacity of nurses and midwives to effectively mentor and support learners during clinical practice.
The training equipped participants with knowledge and skills to enhance clinical mentorship, improve supervision of students, and promote quality learning experiences within healthcare settings.
Clinical preceptors play a vital role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice by guiding future nurses and midwives in developing professional competence, confidence, and safe patient care practices.
Through this initiative, RNMU continue to support the development of a skilled and empowered nursing and midwifery workforce that contributes to the delivery of quality healthcare services.
