The Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union (RNMU) brought together committee members from referral hospitals across the country for a training workshop aimed at strengthening their leadership capacity and understanding of trade unionism.
The workshop focused on the legal framework governing trade unions, the roles and responsibilities of committee members, and strategies for effective leadership and representation in the workplace. Participants also discussed key priorities and developed action plans to guide future activities within their respective hospitals.
The training provided an opportunity for committee members to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and enhance their ability to effectively represent and support nurses and midwives at the referral hospital level.
