The Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union (RNMU) conducted a five-day training and policy review workshop for its Board members and staff, focusing on strengthening the monitoring and evaluation of RNMU policies.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of policy implementation processes, assess the effectiveness and relevance of existing policies, and identify areas requiring review, improvement, and further development. Through interactive sessions and discussions, participants reviewed current policies, explored strategies for effective implementation, and strengthened approaches for monitoring progress and ensuring continuous improvement within the organization.
The workshop contributed to strengthening RNMU capacity by supporting effective governance, improving policy implementation, and ensuring that organizational policies remain responsive to the needs of nurses and midwives.
