Every year on May 12th Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union joins the rest of the world to celebrate International Nurses Day. This day coincides with the anniversary to celebrate the birth of Florence Nightingale.

As International nurses day 2021 celebrations were a climax of a week – long celebratory activities that begun on 5th May 2021 under the theme Nurses: A Voice to Lead, A Visions for Future Healthcare.

RWANDA NURSES AND MIDWIVES UNION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NORWEGIAN NURSES ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY

Rwanda Nurses and Midwives Union (RNMU) in partnership with Norwegian Nurses Organization (NNO) from 22nd march 2023 to 24th march 2023 successfully held a professional seminar that brought together nursing leaders from Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Norway, academia, civil society and Government.

RNMU & RMH MEETING

On the 27th/02/2020, RNMU and the head of departments and managers of the Rwanda Military Hospital (RMH) held a meeting. The purpose for the meeting was to plan for the year 2020 of the Nurse and the Midwife at hospital level through the support of other stake holders involved in the celebration of the year for the Nurse and the Midwife.
